Praise be to our Lord! Lacey had a better day with much less need for pain medication and nausea medication. However, she still remains with pain and nausea that seems to be hanging on. We continue to pray for God's upholding strength in this time of suffering. I did get confirmation today from Mr. Jim from Minnesota regarding insurance and finances and seems that the financial part of the surgery is going to be possible with the combination of insurance payment and some out of pocket costs..at this point, relief and healing is worth millions to us. Please pray that God will continue providing funds and means for us to have the surgery in three weeks. We are deeply thankful for the funds that have been donated up to this point and words are not adequate to express the appreciation we feel. Lacey remains with the picc line for iv meds and fluids and also with the nasally inserted feeding tube(which is quite uncomfortable). We are hopeful that discharge from Forrest General may be within the next 2 to 4 days if the improvement and blessings continue. thank you again for your support and keep watching blog as we hope for definite surgery plans to be determined in the next 2 to 3 days.
