Up in Chair on Post Opt Day 2

Lacey was able, with the help of two therapists, to get out of the bed, stand up, take two steps and sit in a high backed chair for about 10 minutes. We are so proud of her. God is giving her strength and desire to really push herself toward recovery. We're still looking at 2 or more weeks here but she is motivated to get home as quickly as possible since we have been in the hospital and away from our dear darling elyse for 38 of the last 52 days. Not a fun journey but oh how we've grown! I will post again tonight but just wanted to share the news that she sat up and she continues to push her body toward recovery. keep praying!

  1. Jeremy: Tell everyone that you are on my prayer list and at my church (Sunrise Baptist). This is good news for a change. Tell your Mom I said Hi and to take care of herself too.

So glad that the surgery and now recovery is progressing each day. I keep up with your blob every day and am glad to hear that she was able to sit up for a bit and take steps.

    God is so good.
