It seems that the sleeping plan is working. Lacey had a very restful night and only woke a few times. However, when she was awake, the nausea was present. She is continuing to make progress and we are very thankful. Her pain seems to have dimenished markedly since a few days ago. For, Lacey at this point, the physical battle she is in has really evolved into a spiritual and emotional battle as well. For all of us could only imagine laying in a 14x18 room for 15 days and being away from our family. Lacey is very active but the inactivity is really becoming a challenge for her. God grants her grace and mercy daily and He renews her strenth morning by morning and by His power, she continues to press on and her thoughts last night and today have been very positive. Please pray for her in this matter that she can continue to rest in the soveriegnty of God and His peace. He is being glorified even in the midst of her sufferring and Lacey would be the first to say that she would be delighted to be used of God for His glory, even if it meant suffering as she is. He is working in the lives of many, and we are thankful. Please continue to bear us up before God's throne of grace so that He may continue to be gracious and merciful unto us although we are unworthy. I'll post another update this evening on her progress today.
Lamentations 3:21-24 But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope:22 The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end;23 they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.”
