Update #2

Just had a great visit from dr sutherland. he said lace did very well and that there were no surprises. said that she is very stable and that the pancreas is in the lab being processed. Said she would have major major pain as she awakes later tonight. He expects the cells to be back by 3 or 4 and maybe another 2 hours to inject them and close the wound. We are hoping this all will be over by 6 or 7 this evening which will be a long day for lacey! God continues to bless us. The doctor showed us plenty of pictures from the surgery and we'll get them emailed and show everyone later. He did take a picture of the pancreas with a scapel through it which will thrill lacey. NO MORE PANCRAETITIS! i'm sure you can somehow know what joy we feel. Lots of road ahead with lots of rehab and lots of pain. God's providences continue to amaze us. please pray for her. look out for more updates in a few hours!
