hospitalization day 12

So we remain in room 7701 of Forrest General and although Lacey has made some progress over the past 2 to 3 days, she remains very weak and in pain with nausea. Lacey has used markedly less meds over the past two days but is unable to keep enough food down to sustain life without assistance from the tube. She had a very bad episode of pain about an hour ago and got some medication to relieve the pain. Lacey is very tired and wonders how she can continue life in this health state. We only have less than 3 weeks until the surgery at University of Minnesota so please continue to pray that God will provide Lacey with pain relief and strength to travel and withstand the stress of the major operation. We remain hopeful for we know our hope lies not in the temporal, mortal strengths of our own mind and body but our hope lies in the eternal immortal, invisible and wise power and strength of the one true and living God. He is providing Lacey with strength daily and although at the close of each day she feels as if there's no strength for tomorrow, God provides and she endures another day. Please bear her up before His throne as she has been in pain and away from our beautiful daughter now for 12 days. God's word tells us that He will never leave us nor forsake us and that all things work together for the good of those who love God and who are the called according to His purpose. Lacey knows Christ as her Savior and God's mercy and grace allows her to endure. Thanks for the prayers, please pray specifically that she will rest in God's peace and that her mind and heart will continually commune with Him during these times of suffering.

Isa 26:3 Thou dost keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusts in thee.
